so this is the third weekend…
…that i’m spending in singapore. and for some weird reason my blue font is working again now. anyway, today’s been quite long. first i got a call in the morning at 8:30am. it was from an unknown number so it’s fair to say i wasn’t best pleased to be woken up at that hour. plus, i had slept at like 2 or 3 the night before. but then…the call was from eik hee! she had come to singapore and called me to meet up so i let her off for ruining my sleep.
so after that, i couldn’t sleep anymore cos i’m the type that finds it really difficult to fall back to sleep once get woken up. and i decided to get up and go to grandaunt’s place for a visit. so i went over for a while, then went off to orchard road to do some shopping. just so you know, the ‘great singapore sale’ starts today so i went to check out what’s worth buying.
after buying a shirt and a couple of ties, proceeded to meet eik hee for lunch. ended up lunching with her mom, 2 sis, and grandma as well. quite weird. but was cool to meet up after so long. went around some more and did a little bit more of shopping. ended up buying another shirt, a couple of deodorants, a couple of hand washes, some clorets, and lip balm.
after splitting with eik hee and co, went to meet she-beaver for dinner. we went for korean which was not too bad and then went shopping once more. bought another t-shirt. then we proceeded for some hong kong dessert nearby before running off home.
so if you bothered to keep track of the things i spent on besides food and transport, well, you’d know that i bought a lot of things. i can’t really remember when was the last time i bought so many things. and amounting to quite a bit as well. but it’s all good. got paid my salary yesterday. =D
lastly, i was really psyched bout going for football in the morning tomorrow then volleyball in the afternoon. but then i think football may be off due to colleague falling ill. and volleyball…well…really hoping it’ll go well. plus if you know me well enough, i don’t play volleyball. so…let’s see if i humiliate myself badly or not. and i really really don’t wanna humiliate myself. bahhh….
